Boy George Slams Lady Gaga Over Cocaine Confession

In some “Pot Calling the Kettle Black” News, Boy George is slamming Lady Gaga for confessing that she dabbles in a little illegal cocaine use a few times a year.

Gee, tough room.

The Culture Club crooner had been among Gaga’s legion of “Little Monsters” — especially after the “Poker Face” hitmaker insisted that he autograph her vagina during their first meeting in 2009. However, after hearing pop’s leading lady cop to drug use in a buzzed-about chat with the September Fall Fashion Issue of Vanity Fair Magazine, George has fallen out of favor with the eccentric star.

Of course, the “Karma Charmelon” is no stranger to addiction. George has not only struggled with drug abuse in his own life — the throes of addiction played a large role in the 2006 kidnapping of a male escort that landed the ’80s pop prince in the slammer.

George ripped Gaga is the latest edition of his weekly blog post for Paper Magazine: “If Lady Gaga were about to be exposed as a drug user I would understand her recent confession to Vanity Fair that she is an ‘occasional’ coke sniffer. But why offer up this information on a whim? Could it be that her use of coke is not so ‘occasional?’” George said in the entry titled “Lady Gaga Scratch & Sniff Confession.”

“As a recovering addict who knows how dangerous ‘occasional’ use is, I can think of no reason for Gaga to reveal this to her young audience. My mum had the best take on this, ‘she’s reached the stage where she feels untouchable, you all get there – you did, son.’”

Boy George went on to add: “One has to wonder how much of a grip Gaga has on things. Up until now she has seemed almost annoyingly professional and focused and this seems out of character! Isn’t saying your an ‘occasional’ drug taker a bit like saying you’re bisexual? That usually means you’re raving!”
