Brad Pitt “21 Jump Street” Cameo Unearthed!

Before They Were Famous: Brad Pitt/Johnny Depp’s TV Moment!

Stepping out on the red carpet for the premiere of The Tourist, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp didn’t exactly seem like the best of friends, but the Hollywood hunks have got a bit more in common than just starring alongside the dazzling Angelina Jolie onscreen.

Brad and Johnny, both now 47, shared a scene of their own together on an episode of FOX’s new-age cop drama 21 Jump Street way back in 1988!

Johnny’s star may have been on the rise a little faster than Brad’s by the time the hit TV show — about a group of rookie cops going undercover in local high schools — was at its peak, but Brad’s pre-fame cheekbones were certainly a scene-stealer, even if he did only have a bit part!

Depp recently said he is open to the idea of making a cameo appearance in the forthcoming film version of the show that catapulted him to Hollywood stardom. We’re still waiting to hear whether or not Brad is also up for going back to school.

21 Jump Street: The Movie — starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill — is expected to open in late 2011.
