As Bravo’s President of Original Programming, Andy Cohen has worked with some of the sauciest Real Housewives on the tube. But even he never thought he’d be facing off against one of reality TV’s most-hated women.
After Heidi Montag expressed an interest in appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills late last week, Andy wasted no time offering a colorful denial on Thursday’s Watch What Happens Live. Montag actually had a tiny role in Jennifer Aniston’s new movie Just Go With It – but there’s no way Andy’s letting ol’ airbags parlay the cameo into a gig on Bravo.
“That trash is delusional!” Andy retorted, referring to Heidi. “And I would sooner stab my knives into my own eyes than see her on this network!” Andy then named Montag the show’s “Jackhole of the Week”
Meow!
Andy’s since apologized for his spirited remarks about Heidi, but its all a bit too little too late for Montag, who says Cohen’s nothing more than a big bully. “Andy’s tasteless remarks were hurtful and completely unnecessary,” she told PEOPLE Friday. “I have always been a fan of the Housewives franchise and I don’t appreciate being bullied.”
Kepping your network Z-list free is kinda understandable, but considering Heidi had a cameo in an actual film – dontcha think Andy was a lil’ harsh? Barbie dolls have feelings, too!
