Brie Larson, Sharlto Copley, Armie Hammer and More Go Gun Crazy In Wild 'Free Fire' T…
If you like movies that are largely confined to one space, ho-boy do we have something for you. It’s the first trailer for Free Fire, the new movie from Kill List and High-Rise director Ben Wheatley.
When we first saw the cast list, which included Brie Larson, Sharlto Copley, Armie Hammer, Cillian Murphy, Jack Reynor and Noah Taylor, we knew it would be a special movie. Wheatley bringing all those talented people to the same set is bound to result in must-watch material. At the time we didn’t realize they would literally be together in the same space for the whole movie.
That at least appears to be the case based on this Red Band trailer for Free Fire, which sets up an illegal gun deal that spirals out of control. Like, really, really out of control. Everyone starts shooting everyone and it looks like no one is going to escape this warehouse without a few bullet holes in ’em.

Free Fire – which won’t hit US theaters until 2017 – had its world premiere at TIFF last night, where it was met with some pretty enthusiastic reactions. Our own Erik Davis was a big fan.
FREE FIRE is a helluva time. A 90-minute guns-blazin’ shoot out that’s deliriously funny. Sam Riley and Jack Reynor stole it for me. #TIFF16
