Britney Spears Stalking Female Psychologist?

Britney has a lesbian crush on her psychologist, a new tabloid report claims.

The National Enquirer is nothing if not consistent. We can always depend on one of the supermarket’s oldest rags to serve up weekly doses of knee-slapping stories that may or may not be embedded in truth. Despite its rep of publishing dodgy deets and even sketchy stories, the tab insists that the pop tart has been secretly lusting after her female shrink, all while romancing bearded beau Jason Trawick.

The unidentified doc was one of many mental health experts hired to counsel the 28-year-old singer, who remains under the guardianship of her overbearing father, Jamie. The pretty psychologist was the first of Brit’s docs to make the pop star feel “important” and “heard,” and it didn’t take long for Spears to mistake concern for courtship and flirtation, insiders say.

“For a time, Britney was interested in her doctor sexually,” says a friend of pop star. “She actually thought the doctor was interested in her also, because the shrink’s approach to Britney was so different from other doctors.”

According to The Enquirer, once the shrink realized that Britney’s interest in their sessions had nothing to do with laying back on a sofa and “getting in touch” with her feelings, she dropped the singer as a patient….That’s when things got very “Single White Female.”

In Feb. 2010, Britney allegedly began calling the psychotherapist’s office incessantly.

The Enquirer source blabs: “When Britney didn’t get more appointments, she began to call and tell the doctor she needed her and wanted her in her life. When the doctor wouldn’t come to the phone, Britney would demand to have the doctor’s private cell phone number. She even called the doctor’s office and used fake names to try to get more appointments.”

The shrink was “disturbed” that Britney — who is supposed to be under the strict supervision of dad Jamie and his hired team of minders 24/7– had the freedom to make harassing calls, prompting Jamie to confront his superstar daughter about the potential legal ramifications of her erratic behavior.

“Britney was undeterred and told Jamie that he should be happy that she has a crush on a ’successful woman’ — because that means her money is safe. She also pointed out that being in love with a female means that she would not be remarrying or having more kids anytime soon.”

This is the second time in two months that the “(U Drive Me) Crazy” icon has been accused of sexually-harassing the help. In May, Spears’ bodyguard quit his job as head of her security detail, after the star reportedly repeatedly came on to him. Fernando Flores, a 29-year-old former cop, handed in his notice after boss Britney got a little too friendly.

A friend told The Sun: “She was always giving him the come on and he felt if he didn’t reciprocate he could lose his job. He finally handed in his notice last week and is considering legal action.”
