Catherine Zeta Jones: Douglas is the best in the role of a father

Michael Douglas is a veteran actor and has been acting from the early 60’s. Recently he was awarded the Chaplin Award for the year 2010 by the film Society of Lincoln Center. At the award ceremony many well wishers spoke aloud about the actor’s achievements. But most of the speakers did not concentrate much on his acting career and spoke elaborately on his personal accomplishments. Catherine Zeta Jones, wife of Douglas who was there to witness the award ceremony said that there have been many instances in her life where she felt so proud of her husband and feel the most proud when he is at home taking the role of a father. Catherine says that her husband has shown so much of love and care to all her three children and it is just amazing to see his love.
In a private interview to the magazine PEOPLE, Douglas admits that his family is going through a bad phase after his son, Cameron was sent for five years imprisonment after being caught on drug charges. The actor says that he believes his son is in a safe place and wish that he would start a new life after his term in jail
