A CBS Los Angeles reporter who became a viral sensation after footage of her babbling incoherant jibberish during a post-Grammys broadcast garnered massive hits on the web over night was reportedly taken to a local hospital to be checked for a possible stroke shortly after the episode — which would explain the disintegration of her speech.

“Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning,” the network said in a statement issued Monday.
