Chace Crawford Up For “Glee” Guest Spot?

Britney Spears did it. Even Gwyneth Paltrow’s did it. Making a guest appearance on hit musical TV show Glee can get a celebrity’s name trending on Twitter faster than a collar for DUI. So who’s the next big name star courting 15 minutes of primetime fame?

The Gossip Girl hunk reportedly met with series Matthew Morrison, who plays Mr Schuster on the show, to discuss the possibility of appearing in an upcoming episode, Buzz Magazine said last week.

“Chace is a huge fan of Glee and would love to perform in the next series with the rest of the cast,” an unnamed source told the glossy.

When quizzed on the report at the Audi Forum in Dallas this week, Morrison stopped short of confirming whether or not an actual deal had been reached, but noted that Chace definitely has the talent to razzle dazzle us with a Gleetastic guest spot.

“I think Chace could definitely do Glee. He’s one of my good buddies so I’d love him to be on the show,” Matthew told E! “It’d be awesome! And I’d love to be on Gossip Girl.”
