Check Out a Gorgeous New 'Rogue One' Poster; Next Trailer Drops Thursday

It’s beginning to look a lot like Star Wars, as a new colder season and daylight savings time reminds us that winter is right around the corner — and with it, a new Star Wars movie. 

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards stopped by the Star Wars show with a gorgeous new poster for the movie, as well as news that a new trailer will drop Thursday morning. 

Here’s the poster.

It’s got all the makings of a classic Star Wars poster, with a familiar design and layout reminiscent of previous Star Wars posters — not to mention the fact that it, too, plays with the light vs dark theme. All the characters are there front and center along with a calming blue tint that teases a beach side battle the likes of which we’ve never seen in a Star Wars movie. 

And, of course, Darth Vader’s presence looms over it all.
