It happened at the BET Awards held on Sunday night when Chris Brown abruptly broke into tears performing a song dedicated to his idol- Michael Jackson.

Lloyd unveiled to Rap-Up.com on that day that it was he who advised Chris to cry and in such a way to show his real heart to the whole world. This information caused a number of questions concerning whether Brown’s tears were fake or sincere.

Luckily, on Tuesday, Lloyd published his comment on his interview in his personal blog where he defended his friend.

The star wrote that he perceived Chris Brown to be his friend who had gone through numerous troubles in the past. He confirmed that he never advised Brown to cry onstage. According to Lloyd, a year ago he shared his thoughts with Brown concerning Michael Jackson’s death and people’s indifference and lack of emotions about that. Brown’s friend added that he felt that the singer’s emotions were real.

We all know that after Brown’s accusation in felony assault in relation to his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, the rapper kept a low profile practically the whole year in 2009. He even had to skip BET Awards held that year. Right at the moment Chris Brown is restlessly trying to rehabilitate his spoilt image.
