The controversial video in which Tea Party-endorsed Delaware Republican Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell confesses that she once “dabbled” in witchcraft got the parody treatment on the 36th season opener of Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

O’Donnell’s comments about witchcraft went viral earlier this month after a clip of Christine’s appearance on an Oct. 1999 broadcast of Bill Maher’s now-defunct HBO series Politically Incorrect hit the web.

O’Donnell, a conservative Christian activist, victory GOP moderate Michael Castle, Delaware’s longtime congressman and former two-term governor, during the state’s mid-term elections two weeks ago.

She faces off aganist Democratic county executive Chris Coons in November.

“I dabbled into witchcraft. I never joined a coven,” O’Donnell told Maher.

“I hung around people who were doing these things. I’m not making this stuff up. I know what they told me they do. One of my first dates with a witch was on a satanic altar, and I didn’t know it. I mean, there’s little blood there and stuff like that. We went to a movie and then had a little midnight picnic on a satanic altar.”
