Chucky Comes To Life In Behind-The-Scenes ‘Child’s Play’ Video
Think Chucky is creepy? Wait till you see what’s underneath his pores and skin.
Orion Pictures launched a behind-the-scenes featurette about how the world’s most well-known evil doll (sorry Annabelle) was “brought to life” for the upcoming Child’s Play reboot. If you want watching ginger robots with freckles being constructed, that is the video. Everyone else (me) will simply wait till the film’s out.
The new Child’s Play has extra in widespread with the early movies within the franchise than the later entries; which means, Chucky received’t consistently be dispensing campy one-liners (“I don’t know, what would Martha Stewart do?”). “You have fun moments in this movie that feels very real,” director Lars Klevberg advised IGN. “It’s not campy, silly humor, it’s all integrated into the story, and how our characters try to move forward as the story progress. And it was integrated well.”
“I feel all Child’s Play and Chucky films have some kind of humor in it. But for me, for this film, and for everybody that makes it, that humor makes it to be built-in into the story, and it must really feel actual, and it must hit you so that you snicker and have a good time whereas it’s taking place, and never as a result of it’s foolish.” (Via)
Child’s Play, that includes Mark Hamill because the voice of Chucky, opens on June 21.
