Meet Cindy Barshop, the newest Big Apple social climber to join the cast of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City.

On Wednesday, the network revealed that Barshop would replace ex-housewife Bethenny Frankel, who left the show for her own series, Bethenny Getting Married, last summer.

Barshop runs the she-she poo-poo Completely Bare Day Spa chain. The spa boasts three locations throughout the Big Apple as well as branches in Scarsdale, Arizona and Palm Beach, Florida and counts Jersey Shore stars Pauly D and The Situation among its celebrity clientele. In fact, we hear the guy will make an appearance on the show’s forthcoming series premiere.

In addition to being one of the most trendy business owners in the City That Never Sleeps, Barshop is a single mom to twin girls Zoe and Jesse, born in 2009.

“She’s the epitome of the go-go New Yorker who lives downtown in an absolutely fabulous West Village loft,” says Bravo Programming Vice-President Christian Barcellos.

It’s likely that Barshop will bond well with veteran Housewives Ramona Singer and Kelly Bensimon, regular Cocktail & Conversation buddies of Cindy’s.

“She has an organic connection to the cast. She’s friends with [fellow New York ‘Housewives’] Ramona [Singer] and has connections to Kelly [Bensimon]. They all run in the same circles. And she’s a very successful, entrepreneurial, self-made woman.”

The Real Housewives of NYC kicks off its fourth season on Bravo in February.
