Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes A Father

One of soccer’s most eligible bachelors is joining the celebrity baby boom.

Study sportsman Cristiano Ronaldo may not have won the World Cup, but the Real Madrid forward and Emporio Armani spokesmodel brought home another bundle of joy — a bouncing baby boy.

On Saturday, Ronaldo announced that he recently fathered a son with a woman who has chosen to remain anonymous.

“It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become father to a baby boy,” Cristiano, 25, on his Facebook page.

Cristiano added that he will take full custody of his infant son and plans to raise the tot as a single dad.

“As agreed with the baby’s mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship. No further information will be provided on this subject and I request everyone to fully respect my right to privacy (and that of the child) at least on issues as personal as these are.”

The Portuguese-born striker has been previously romantically-linked to American socialites Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Irina Shayk.
