Dean McDermott Tori Spelling Cheating Fears

“If they did it with you, they’ll do it to you” is a mantra Tori Spelling’s holding a little too dear these days.

The actress — best remembered for her role as virginal, goody-two-shoes Donna Martin on the ’90s incarnation of Beverly Hills, 90210 — hooked up with her actor hubby Dean McDermott when the pair met on the set of the 2005 TV movie Mind Over Murder. Both were married to other people at the time.

They wed a year later and athough the couple and their two children — Liam, 3, and Stella, 2 — are the stars of their own family reality series, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, Tori still has a tough time shaking nagging suspicions that Dean will one day be unfaithful to her too.

(He likely will. It’s called karma, Sweetie.)

She tells PEOPLE: “We’re a loving couple, but were human and definitely not perfect. Given our history I often get worried that Dean is going to cheat on me. If the phone rings and it’s a girl’s voice I have to ask if he’s having an affair.”

“Dean has never been anything but devoted, and he tells me over and over again that he would never do that. Deep down I believe him. But I can’t stop myself. For some reason I’m compelled to accuse him of cheating. I apologize to Dean constantly and it drives him crazy and rightfully so,” Tori explains.

McDermott, 43, and Spelling, 36, renewed their vows in a ceremony last month.
