LiLo’s going to The Chokey later this month, so you knew it was only a matter of time before Dope Fiend Enabler No. 1 — Dina “Orange Oprah” Lohan — went on a Champagne Campaign about the great injustice being done to “her child” at the hands of the American legal system.
“This is not an OJ Simpson trial, which they made it out to be…We’re angry. We’re disappointed in the system.”
Damn the people in Darfur! The Lohans are the ones who know what true oppression is!
In her first interview since her troubled daughter was ordered to spend 90-days behind bars, The Lohan Family matriarch sits down with Entertainment Tonight for a two-part tell-all special, entitled Lindsay Through Her Mother’s Eyes.
Speaking with ET’s Samantha Harris in a tearful conservation from the show’s Studio City, California studios, Dina reveals that Lindsay is “scared to death” about her pending jail term and hopes to file an appeal before her court-mandated sentence begins on July 20. Through sobs, Dina says she and Lindsay, 24, spend hours each day reviewing court documents, case law, and information about the Los Angeles jail system.
Dina On Lindsay’s Ability To Survive A Full 90 Days Behind Bars: “You know, she’s strong, but until someone faces something as devastating as that…we’re going to have to see. God willing, it won’t happen…She’s a fighter, and until the final result — we’re not giving up.”
On Judge Marsha Revel (Who LiLo Has Reportedly Referred To As A “Bitter Bitch:” “Everything’s taken a step further with her because of her celebrity. That’s what saddens me the most. If she weren’t, she wouldn’t be in this position. They wouldn’t be so hard on her. And it certainly wouldn’t be televised. I think that’s disgusting that they would do that to her.”
On Lindsay’s Former Attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, Who Removed Herself As Counsel On Thursday: “I feel like Shawn [Chapman Holley], Lindsay’s [former] attorney should have stood up and said, ‘Listen, I didn’t know you were going to have witnesses.’ We would have had ten witnesses. We didn’t get a shot. We didn’t get a shot at fairness…I think it’s time we get another attorney just to see it from another light and do damage control.”
Lindsay Through Her Mother’s Eyes begins airing Friday, July 9 on Entertainment Tonight. Check Your Local Listings For Showtimes.
