Drake Says Rihanna Played Him

Drake — the most raved-about hip-hop newcomer in more than a decade — is spillin the beans on being used by rumored ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

The handsome Canadian rose to fame as Degrassi: The Next Generation’s “Wheelchair Jimmy” before joining the music industry rat race. He says the fling started briefly after the gorgeous islander called it quits with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in 2009. The pair began seeing one another shortly after Rihanna asked Drake to pen a song for her Rated R LP.

So imagine Drake’s disappointment when RiRi abruptly stopped returning his calls.

On ‘Fireworks’ there’s a verse about Rihanna, who asked him last year to write a song for her new album. ‘I was a pawn,’ Drake said. The song he wrote for her never got released. ‘You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear,’ he said. ‘I was like, wow, this feels terrible.’”
