Elizabeth Hurley & Husband Split; Actress Moves On To Womanizing Athlete

Another one bites the dust: Actress-model Elizabeth Hurley has announced her separation from husband Arun Nayar following allegations that she has been having a relationship with Shane Warne, an Australian cricket legend with a healthy appetite for ladies.

In a posting to her Twitter page on Sunday, Hurley, 45, revealed that she and the Indian businessman ended their marriage “months ago.”

“Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this. (sic)”

The announcement comes on the heels of a News of the World scoop, in which the British tabloid claims that Hurley has been having a fling with Warne, 41, and had even spent time with him in a London hotel earlier in the week. Under a larger story headlined “Warne’s Legover,” the tabloid went into extensive detail about the affair and the pair’s movements last week. The newspaper said the relationship had been building on Twitter since they first met in West Sussex in late July. The reports included a number of increasingly flirtatious messages sent between them in the past five months.

Hurley began dating Nayar in late 2002. The couple wed in March 2007 at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, before having a second ceremony, a traditional Hindu service, at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, in India.
