Emergency Back Surgery for Bono

Bono is best known as the front man of the infamous band from Ireland – U2. Recently, his band members posted online that Bono was rushed to the hospital for an emergency back surgery.

According to the message posted at their website, U2.com, Bondo is currently undergoing a back surgery as a result of injury that he got while preparing during their tour.

U2 frontman Bono has been hospitalized after having surgery, the band said in a message posted online Friday. Bondo is confined at a hospital in Munich where he stays at a specialist neurosurgery unit. Two doctors are currently taking care of Bono including Dr. Muller Wohlfahrt and Dr. Jorg Tonn. There still no clear schedule when Bono will be released from the hospital but hopefully it would only take a couple of days till he gets better.

There are also no statement from the band how Bono’s surgery would affect their tour. They just said that by the time the doctors told them about their assessment on Bono’s condition, they would immediately inform the fans about the impact that it would bring in their scheduled tours.

On June 3, U2 is set to perform at one of the places in Salt Lake City in the state of Utah. This is included in their 360 world tour. Afterwards, the band was scheduled for a couple of shows in North America before they go back to Europe by August.
