According to reports from different news sources, Google is currently working on special services that will enable customers to make individual payments for access to songs and news using personal subscriptions and purchases.

This system, which will allow access to fee-based internet services, is called Newspass. According to La Repubblica, Italian newspaper, its users will be given a single account to access miscellaneous fee-paying resources.

This move is made by the company in order to support its publishing industry. It is not a secret to anyone that Google has used “second-hand” news content in order to fill in its search engines traffic. It has been especially done for its Google News. So, the company has been largely criticized for it by numerous news organizations.

At the same time it was written in The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday that the company is planning to launch a download service for music this year and provide an option to subscribe to this service next year.

This new music downloading service will be integrated into a search engine introduced by Google. This service will be even available on mobile phones which function on the basis of Android OS.
