The Academy Award-winning actress will portray herself on the show’s annual Pre-Oscars Special, airing Feb. 20, producers said Wednesday. An animated Halle will present an Oscar to Bart Simpson for a short film he makes about his father Homer, dubbed Angry Dad.
To create the actress’ cartoon alter-ego, animators used a snap of Halle in the Elie Saab gown she wore when she accepted the Best Actress prize in 2002.
