Harry Smith hopping to NBC News
Harry Smith has found a new home. The former Early Show host — who first joined CBS back in 1987 — is swapping networks to NBC News, where he will collaborate with Brian Williams on a primetime newsmagazine. The show is set to premiere during the 2011-2012 season.
Last November, Smith and Maggie Rodriguez were ousted from Early Show in an effort to revamp the morning show. Chris Wragge and Erica Hall replaced the two vets.
