HTC teams up with Airtel and Qualcomm to launch HTC Smart in India

HTC Corporation and Bharti Airtel collaborated with Qualcomm Incorporated to launch the HTC Smart in the Indian market. HTC Smart is a user friendly and affordable Smartphone that is now available across the globe.

The HTC Smart is powered by Qualcomm’s Brew Mobile Platform™ operating system. The handset features a 2.8-inch TFT-LCD touch-sensitive screen along with QVGA resolution and a 3.0 mega pixel camera that supports fixed focus and flashlight.

The HTC Smart incorporates HTC Sense, HTC Friend Stream that is an application aggregating social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr.
The SMART was already in O2 UK and Telefonica in Europe. And now the HTC Smart™ is available through Airtel in 30 cities in India at a price of Rs. 9,990.
