I”ve been making fun of Jolie since she kissed her brother: Chelsea Handler

Chelsea Handler, who called Angelina Jolie a ‘home wrecker’, has now defended her controversial comments.

On this week’s episode of ‘Chelsea Lately’, the late-night host began her roundtable conversation by mentioning that ‘The View’ had addressed her “Angelina Jolie tirade,” which consisted of comedian giving an expletive-laden rant about the Oscar winner during a recent standup performance in New Jersey.

“Can I just say, I”ve been making fun of Angelina Jolie since she made out with her brother,” the New York Daily News quoted the E! star as saying on her talk show.

Jolie, also 35, infamously kissed her sibling, actor James Haven, at the 2000 Academy Awards, where she told the audience, “I”m so in love with my brother right now.” Rumors of incest sparked, but were later debunked.

Handler further explained that her comments, which also referenced Jolie”s 9-year-old son, Maddox, are part of “my standup shows, which I do every weekend, which I”ve done all year and for five years.”

At that point, weekly guest, comedian Josh Wolf, chimed in and said the experience “should tell you that you should get some new material. You just said five years, maybe it”s time for a new joke.”

And Handler agreed.

“It”s true. If I”ve learned anything from this, it”s to write some new jokes,” she added.
