Is Ryan Murphy terrorizing the ‘Glee’ cast?

The “Glee” cast may still publicly fawn over Ryan Murphy, but it appears that privately, the “Glee” creator could have turned into a bit of a menace.

According to a new report in Us Weekly, Murphy has gone from a hero, plucking talented unknowns from obscurity, to a major bully. “Things are really bad on set. The cast talks about how much they love Ryan, but they have grown to hate him,” a source tells Us. Another adds, “He has bad mood swings and can be really mean.”

The mood swing thing isn’t too unbelievable of a claim, considering Murphy has been a very public flip-flopper, saying one day that there won’t be any famous guest stars in Season 3, then later bringing on Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin and Pitbull

Us also reports that when star Lea Michele initially declined to participate in the show’s 2011 concert tour, for which they had just four short days to rehears, Murphy responded by threatening to fire one of her friends — likely referring to one of Michele’s besties, Amber RIley.

For the record, Michele’s rep denied all the claims for the Us story. While we’ll respect that response, we’re of the mind that where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

What do you think about the claims? Do you believe the rumors or do you believe Michele’s publicist?
