James competes for Looney Tunes


As anticipation for the long-awaited “Space Jam” follow-up rises earlier than its July 16 premiere, the second trailer for “Space Jam: A New Legacy” raises the stakes of this face-off — LeBron James should win or else the Tune squad might be deleted.

The latest trailer offers viewers a sneak-peek into James’ preparation earlier than this fateful sport — in addition to the Looney Tunes’ normal shenanigans. Beyond LeBron and Zendaya, “Space Jam: A New Legacy” boasts a robust roster — “Girls Trip” director Malcolm D. Lee is directing the movie, and “Black Panther’s” Ryan Coogler is a producer. And chances are you’ll discover a couple of different present NBA and WNBA stars lurking within the movie as effectively.
