Joe Jonas Threatening To Sue Gossip Blogger Zack Taylor Over Demi Lovato “Friends With Benefits” Claim

Boy bander Joe Jonas celebrated his 21st birthday over the weekend by threatening a lawsuit against Canadian entertainment blogger Zack Taylor, TMZ reported Saturday.

Taylor is in hot water for suggesting that Joe is involved in a secret “friends with benefits” relationship with his former girlfriend and Camp Rock co-star, 17-year-old actress and singer Demi Lovato.

Joe — who has dated a bevy of Hollywood beauties, including singer Taylor Swift and actress Camilla Belle — has taken a public vow of chasity and vowed to stay a virgin until he gets married. Needless to say, the star was less than pleased when Taylor suggested that Joe and Demi have been secretly doing the mattress mambo.

Last week, the singer’s attorney sent a letter to Taylor blasting him for a story. Jonas’ lawyer claims that the story is “completely false, offensive and defamatory’ and has accused Taylor of a ‘malicious attempt to attack and devalue Joe’s good name and reputation,” according to the letter.

“We are currently reviewing the situation and letter. However, at this time we do stand by our sources and their claims,” Taylor’s attorney told TMZ.com.
