John Mayer Shenae Grimes Dating?

John and his acoustic guitar just can’t get enough of the starlets! We hear celebrity lothario John Mayer — who has loved and left the likes of Jessica Simpson and Taylor Swift — is now snuggling up to 90210 babe Shenae Grimes.

Star Magazine blew the lid off this hush-hush Hollywood hookup between the covers of its Jan. 10 edition. Grimes, 21, has been gushing about her clandestine romance with the lovelorn 33-year-old to pals on the Santa Monica set of her upcoming film drama Sugar, Word on the Curb says.

“Shenae is telling friends that she’s having a secret fling with John,” an insider divulges. “They’ve hooked up a few times and talk and text, but John wants to keep a low profile for once.”

Stricken by Cupid’s arrow, Shenae’s been urging John to go public with the romance, but friends fear heartbreak is just around the corner for the pretty young Canadian.

“She just doesn’t seem to get that he’s not the kind of guy to fall for too deeply. He’s a total player, and that isn’t going to change anytime soon.”
