Jon Favreau: No ‘Iron Man’ Until ‘The Avengers’

According to the director of “Iron Man,” Jon Favreau, Robert Downey who is playing the role of Tony Stark will not be seen in 2011’s“Captain America: The First Avenger” or “Thor.”
It was reveled that Tony Stark would not participate in the above mentioned movies, but he would be seen in ‘Avengers.’ Actually, such a news was disclosed by the director during “The Kevin and Bean Show” held at Los Angeles radio station known as KROQ.
In fact, it would be interesting to see how the 2012-due team-up film will manage to tie together in the world of Marvel superhero mythology. But one should mention that 2008’s “The Incredible Hulk” will also be included.
Still it is unknown what will happen in ‘The Avengers’ as the shooting draft is not yet written. One can expect that it would be a big deal for Marvel, everything that is known is that there will be a unified version in ‘The Avengers.’ It looks like it would be an exciting prospect.
As for “Cowboys and Aliens,” it is another action romp that according to the director would be shot in 3D.
The director said that as they would shoot in the desert they would look at the gear, whether it was able to hold up. At present the whole team is in the process of discussion whether they are going to do it on the next film or not.
It is planned that “The Avengers” will be launched on May 2, 2012.
