Four-time Oscar nominee Julianne Moore is finally getting her “Just Desserts.”

The ginger-haired starlet will get Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year later this month.

Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the oldest undergraduate drama troupe in the nation, selected Julianne for the honor. Each year, the legendary award is given to a pair of entertainers — one male, one female — who have made a “lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment,” says Hasty Pudding spokesperson Learah T. Lockhart. They’re impressed with the former sudster star’s work on the silver screen, on Broadway, and her success as author of the critically-hailed Freckleface Strawberry children’s books. Julianne is, after all, one of only nine Hollywood stars to receive two acting Oscar nominations in a year when she nabbed double nods for Far From Heaven and The Hours in 2002.

“Julianne Moore has made a lot of bold choices in her career. She has acted in everything from movies to independent films to theatre to television. She has even authored two children’s books,” Lockhart explains.

After accepting her Pudding Pot and delivering the customary Hasty Pudding Address, Moore — a graduate of Boston University — will lead a parade through the streets of Cambridge on Jan. 27. Past Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year recipients include Renee Zellweger, Julia Roberts, Jessica Biel and last year’s honoree Anne Hathaway.

Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ Man of the Year Event will take place on Feb. 4. Keep your eyes opens, that recipient will be announced next week.
