Bravo got into the talk show game seriously when it announced in November that Andy Cohen’s late-night gabfest Watch What Happens Live would be airing five nights a week, but now the cable network is expanding on that foundation by launching comedian Kathy Griffin into her own weekly talk show, titled Kathy. The news was announced today during the network’s presentation at the TCA press tour in Pasadena, Calif.

Kathy — which is set to premiere this spring — is described as “the destination to get Griffin’s thoughts on everything pop culture as she rants on the week’s biggest headlines and tabloid gossip.” The one-hour weekly show will also feature stand-up routines, celebrity interviews, and taped segments.

Griffin will also do two new comedy specials for the network this year, adding to the 13 she’s done for Bravo since 2005.
