Kevin Smith to Write Another ‘Clerks 3’ Screenplay, This
Kevin Smith is intent on making “Clerks 3,” and on Tuesday, he introduced in an Instagram submit that “I assure you, we’re open,” revealing that he’s writing a brand new screenplay for the movie and can reunite with the movie’s unique stars, Brian O’Halloran and Jeff Anderson.
Smith had beforehand tried to make “Clerks 3” a couple of years in the past, however couldn’t get the undertaking collectively, which was compounded by Anderson’s unwillingness to return. However, within the Instagram submit, Smith stated that he patched issues up with Anderson and that he’s simply begun writing a brand new tackle the story.

And so far, it’s like a dream come true!”

Smith additionally stated that “Clerks 3” may also function Jason Mewes and himself reprising their supporting roles as Jay and Silent Bob. After struggling to carry “Clerks 3” to fruition, Smith as an alternative pivoted to “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot,” which performs in theaters on Oct. 15 and Oct. 17.
The unique “Clerks” was Smith’s debut movie and have become an indie, cult traditional comedy. The movie advised the story of two slacker, know-it-all comfort retailer clerks who observe and touch upon the actions of their shops’ many patrons throughout the course of a day. Smith adopted it up with each “Clerks 2” in 2006.
