Taylor (Swift that is) may be tops at Entertainment Weekly, but for Billboard bosses 2010 was the year of Madame Gaga.

Gaga has been named Artist of the Year by editors at the music bible. The outre songstress topped Billboard’s Year-End Honors “PokerFace” singer after she dominated both the Billboard 200 albums and Hot 100 Singles Charts with tracks from her wildly-successful LPs, The Fame and The Fame Monster. Gaga left behind Taylor Swift to the Artist of the Year title, preventing the “Love Story” singer from claiming the honor for the second year in a row.

Eminem, Lady Antebellum, and Ke$ha rounded out Billboard’s Artists of the Year countdown.

And while we’re on the subject of The Grungy Goddess, Ke$ha failed to nab a single Grammy nomination for her breakout hit album, Animal, but her party-anthem “Tik Tok” was christened Song of the Year. Following “Tik Tok” were “Airplanes” by B.o.B featuring Hayley Williams; Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance;” Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite;” and Katy Perry’s “California Gurls,” featuring Snoop Dogg.

Billboard’s Top Album of 2010 was Susan Boyle’s debut, I Dreamed a Dream, followed by Eminem’s Recovery; Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now; Lady Gaga’s The Fame; and Justin Bieber’s My World 2.0.
