Lady Gaga has launced a silent protest against her parents, Joseph and Cynthia Germanotti, after the fiercely protective parentals refused to allow the pop phenom’s kid sister to forego college and join her sold-out Monster Ball Tour.
Gaga’s younger sister, Natali, 18, also has dreams of becoming a pop star. She even made a cameo in the the popular short film “Telephone.” Upon completing high school last month, the grad reportedly asked her big sister if she could go on tour with her. A source claims Natali is interested in serving as “an apprentice, singing backup” on the Monster Ball lineup. The “Alejandro” singer couldn’t be more ecstatic about the chance of helping her sister learn the showbiz ropes. The Germanottis, on the other hand, are furious that their famous offspring would encourage Natali to ditch college to chase phantoms of a potential career in pop.
According to the mag, Gaga and her family are at odds over the issue and are no longer speaking.
“Gaga walked out after a screaming match with her dad. Natali was in tears. Gaga is not speaking to her father, and friends are worried that with her main support system shaken, Gaga could wind up an emotional wreck.”
