A boozy appearance on the Home Shopping Network (HSN) has inspired a career resurgence for showbiz vet Liza Minnelli, The National Enquirer has learned.

In a bizarre turn of events, the Oscar, Grammy, Emmy, and Tony winner has been flooded with job offers since her two-hour laughfest went live last month. In fact, Minnelli’s handlers are comparing it to the recent resurgance of Betty White’s career after she starred in a buzzworthy Snickers commercial last SuperBowl Sunday.

The Cabaret star, 64, seemed loopy as she channeled her inner Paula Abdul, slurred her speech, and babbled semi-coherently about her new clothing collection of bedazzled prints and sequined-separates during an appearance on HSN June 30. She rattled on about molding clay and her knee surgery, often repeating herself. While tattles close to the Minnell Camp insist the four-time repeat rehabber was not drinking before her HSN gig, Liza’s off-the-wall appearance has become a YouTube sensation.

“She’s already been presented with a reality show concept and a sitcom script with her playing a wacky grandma,” a tipster close to the legendary entertainer divulged to The Enquirer this week. “It’s the last thing Liza or her people expected, but they’re not complaining. They’re busy fielding offers.”

Liza — who enjoyed a bit role in the summer comedy Sex And The City 2 — is excited about the prospect of getting back in front of the camera and would like “to be in another film, do a reality show, or host Saturday Night Live,” the source adds.

“Clearly, she’s still kicking — she just needs a vehicle to showcase her uniqueness.”
