Singer Marilyn Manson’s ‘Sweet Dreams’ has come out tops in a Halloween related online poll, with Billboard naming it the Scariest Music Video ever made.
Manson, 41, who appeared in the 1999 promo for his cover of the Eurythmics’ Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), was found to be really spooky by editors of Billboard.com.
“When he (Manson) donned a ballerina costume and cut himself, rode a pig and convulsed uncontrollably in the video … he really freaked people out,” the Daily Telegraph quoted the editors as saying.
Next on the list was late Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’, which was followed by Aphex Twin’s ‘Come to Daddy’.
At number four was Ozzy Osbourne’s werewolf video for ‘Bark at the Moon’, and Fever Ray’s ‘If I Had a Heart’ took fifth place.
