Fans of the King of Pop Michael Jackson will have to wait a little longer for the involuntary manslaughter trial of the late pop star’s personal physician.
Dr. Conrad Murray won’t get his day in court until Jan. 2011, authorities in Los Angeles said Monday. Both sides in the case are in favor of a January preliminary hearing. The Houston-based cardiologist has entered a plea of not guilty to a felony charge of involuntary manslaughter in the June 25, 2009 death of the “Thriller” hitmaker. Murray has insisted he did nothing wrong in administering Propofol to Jackson to help him sleep. An autopsy showed the recording artist died from lethal levels of the anesthesia and sedatives.
