Michael Lohan Injured In Parking Lot Assault

Michael Lohan sustained minor injuries in an attack outside his Santa Monica parking lot on Thursday night.

The father of actress Lindsay Lohan, 50, was approached when a White male wearing a black tracksuit — likely in his 50s or 60s — wearing a black tracksuit approached him from behind and cut his neck with an unknown object, police sources tell TMZ.com. Lohan was cut again while fighting off the assailant. The man fled on foot. The incident was reported to the Santa Monica Police Department at 9:55 PM. The suspect remains at large.

Meanwhile “back at the ranch,” Michael attended the Friday morning probation violation hearing for his daughter Lindsay. Michael clapped when Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden Fox sentenced the troubled actress to rehab for failing two court-ordered drug tests last month. Judge Fox has ordered LiLo to remain in treatment at the Betty Ford Clinic in Palm Springs until Jan. 3. At the end of the hearing, Michael — a self-described “Born-Again Christian — presented his estranged daughter with a copy of The Holy Bible. Lohan, 24, accepted the Bible but did not say anything to her father.
