New dad Neil Patrick Harris, a veteran MC for some of Tinseltown’s most-lauded events, will next host Spike TV’s 8th Annual Video Game Awards, set for Dec. 11.
Spike’s annual celebration of the year’s best in gaming will feature 13 world premieres of games scheduled for release in 2011 and beyond — including Batman: Arkham City, Resistance 3, and Thor: God of Thunder.
Joining Neil at Saturday’s event will be presenters, attendees and nominees: 90210′s Annalynne McCord, Thor: God of Thunder video game star Chris Hemsworth, comedian Dane Cook, Olivia Munn, former Bond Girl Denise Richards, Hobbit lensman Guillermo Del Toro, Halo: Reach star and VGA 2010 nominee Nathan Fillion, Nick Swardson, Tony Hawk, Sunny in Philadelphia’s Danny Devito, Kaitlin Olson, and Rob McElhenney.
The Spike TV Video Game Awards airs live on Spike TV this Saturday night at 8 PM ET.
