New Trailers: 'I Am Not a Serial Killer,' 'Two Lovers and a Bear' and '…
Today we present to you a trio of new movie trailers from the festival circuit, and they all look like must-sees for any film lover. Check out the previews for notable selections of SXSW, Cannes, Toronto and Fantastic Fest below.
I Am Not a Serial Killer
In what sounds like an indie teen movie version of the show Dexter, this thriller adapted from a cult novel follows a young man (Where the Wild Things star Max Records) who everyone in town thinks could be a serial killer as he discovers an actual mass murderer on a rampage. Christopher Lloyd co-stars, and IFC is releasing the SXSW hit in theaters and online on August 26.

Two Lovers and a Bear
Orphan Black breakout Tatiana Maslany continues her rise to stardom with a leading role in this film from acclaimed director Kim Kguyen (War Witch). Her male co-star in the romantic drama is Dane DeHaan, and yes they both also share the screen with a bear. A polar bear, to be exact, as the setting is near the North Pole (no it’s not a Christmas movie). Following its Cannes debut, the movie is headed to the Toronto International Film Festival next month.

24X36: A Movie About Movie Posters
The title says it all, as would the alternate title Twenty-Four by Thirty-Six: A Film About Film Poster Art. This is a documentary about the art of movie poster design, past and present, including a good amount of focus on unofficial works by fans and commissions from companies like Mondo. Of course this film is fittingly debuting at Fantastic Fest, which is associated with Mondo, next month (via /Film).
