Third Wheel
Olivia Pierson invites boyfriend Marcedes Lewis over to her apartment for a home-cooked meal, however she starts freaking out when she realizes she can’t really cook. But no fear, Sophia comes to her rescue! After inappropriately sticking the chicken cutlets in their bras, the sisters are able to whip up a delicious meal before Marcedes’ arrival. However, once the food is served, Sophia can’t take a hint and overstays her welcome on Olivia’s date. “I feel bad for Sophia and all with her dealing with her breakup and everything, but how do you not know the girl code, let alone the friend code, let alone the sister code?” Olivia wonders. “Like, get out!”

Don’t Mess With the Bride
When Barbie and Olivia meet for a pedicure and pampering, the bride-to-be mentions how Nicole decided to try on a gown when they went wedding dress shopping. Barbie explains she felt like she was stealing her thunder. “I’ve been planning the wedding for a year and a half, and I want everyone there—all our friends and family—to be celebrating me,” she says. That prompts Olivia to ask Barbie if she thinks Larry will propose to Nicole in Mexico during her wedding week. “That is the ultimate ‘F’ you if that ever happens,” she replies. “I would be so offended because that’s my day. I would never talk to her again.”
Ironically, later on at a party, Nicole hints to Barbie that Larry might propose soon because he’s been acting weird. “I would love for it to happen soon,” she says. “It’s all on him. I want it to happen like yesterday.” Much to Barbie’s irritation, she then suggests, “I mean, Mexico is our place!” Barbie cautions her, “I will clothesline Larry to the ground!”

Walk That Walk
After Tia Shipman is booked to walk in Walter Mendez‘s show at New York Fashion Week, she invites Olivia and Natalie Halcro to come to NYC to help with social media coverage for the event. Once the cousins arrive, Walter gives them a couple of his outfits to model before putting them to work. Unfortunately, Olivia makes a rookie mistake and forgets to apply self-tanner to her legs! Luckily, Nat has her back and promptly bronzes her up in the corner!
As soon as they’re dressed, Natalie and Olivia take their front-row seats to Snapchat all the action, including Tia’s fierce model moment on the catwalk. “Even though I do New York Fashion Week every year, I always still get nervous like it’s my first time, but it’s so fun,” Tia says. “The energy is just so high. The adrenaline that I feel when I’m walking out on the runway I feel like no one can touch me!”

Photographic Evidence
Meanwhile back in Los Angeles, Barbie, Nicole and Sophia go out for the night. But things get a wee bit awkward when Marcedes unexpectedly shows up! Barbie and Nicole look on as Sophia and Marcedes proceed to have a super-friendly conversation. When she comes back over with shots, Barbie asks, “Did you invite him?” Sophia replies, “Yeah, of course.”
Barbie thinks it’s important to let Olivia know what’s going on, so Nicole takes a photo of them getting cozy at the bar for evidence and sends it straight to Olivia’s phone. “Never in a million years would I be okay with my sister hanging out with my boyfriend without me,” Barbie says.
Still at the fashion show, Olivia receives the picture and shows it to Natalie. “What the f–k is this?!” she asks. “First of all, what is he doing? Second of all, what is she doing?”
When she gets back in town, Olivia confronts Sophia for her random meet-up with Marcedes. “I saw the photo of you and Marcedes,” she tells her. “I just don’t understand how this all even happened. Did you call him? Did he call you?” Sophia answers, “Well, yeah. We were Snapchatting and he was in the area, so I told him to come by. It was nothing. I swear to god, I didn’t think it was a big deal at all.”
Even though Olivia is still upset with Sophia, she realizes her real problem is with Marcedes. “[He] has a lot of explaining to do,” she says. “I don’t even know where we stand right now. All I know is, I’m just really hurt.”

Wedding Woes
Sasha Gates shoots the music video for her new song “Go Hard” and invites Barbie and Autumn Ajirotutu to star in it with her. But in between shots, Autumn takes the opportunity to confront Sasha in person about getting an invitation to Barbie’s wedding. “Last thing I heard, Sasha was so upset she’s not invited,” Autumn says. “She’s talking mess about Barbie. She’s saying this, she’s saying that. OK, that’s cute.”
“She met with me and she told me that she wanted me to be there and that’s the plan,” Sasha explains. “It’s her wedding day. What am I supposed to do?” Autumn replies, “I get it. I hope you guys have a great time. Obviously, I’m not as good of a friend as I thought I was to her. There’s no miscommunication. Actions speak louder than words and obviously my actions haven’t depicted being a good enough friend for her. And you know what? It truly is what it is.”

While Olivia and Nicole catch up during a shopping trip, Olivia ends up spilling the beans about Barbie’s wedding ultimatum. “She was starting to think, ‘Is Larry going to propose to you in Mexico?’ She just got worried because you tried the dress on and you’re talking wedding and stuff. She said to me if something like that happened at her wedding, she would not talk to you again.”
“Well, that’s just ridiculous. And that kind of hurts my feelings. I’m like her really good friend. Like, me and Larry have been together four and a half years,” Nicole says. “If he feels like it’s the right time and wants to propose, she should be happy for us.”

Make Up Session
After her argument with Sophia, Olivia meets up with Marcedes for a rock climbing date and to find out what happened between him and her sister. “I figured it’d be cool,” Marcedes explains to her. “Sophia’s new, you know, she’s new to L.A. I know a lot of good people and want to get her involved in the right circles. I thought it’d be cool to just meet up.” Olivia replies, “Well, that’s nice. I like that—if I’m aware.”
Marcedes then apologizes for the misunderstanding. “I would never do anything to jeopardize us chilling or getting to know each other,” he says. After accepting his apology, Olivia decides it’s the right time to ask if he’ll be her plus-one to Barbie’s wedding in Cabo—and he enthusiastically accepts the invitation!

Dinner Drama
After her last conversation with Olivia, Nicole is ready to unleash all her frustrations on Barbie when she arrives for dinner with the girls. When the topic of conversation turns to the wedding in Mexico and babies, Nicole announces, “Well, since Larry’s not allowed to propose to me while we’re in Cabo, maybe I can get pregnant while in Cabo.”
Barbie is taken aback and asks, “What’s that supposed to mean?” Nicole clarifies, “A little birdie over here told me you were saying that if Larry proposes to me while we’re in Cabo that our friendship is done. I felt like I was really hurt that you told her that and you wouldn’t tell me that, so it’s like I’m being talked about at this lunch like I’m a bad person.”
Barbie then explains where she’s coming from. “It would take away from everything I have planned my whole life,” she says. “I don’t know if I could ever forgive somebody knowing how long I’ve been planning this day. I don’t know if our friendship would ever be the same. I don’t know if we could ever be friends again. For somebody else to get engaged on the day of or the night before, it’s like, ‘I don’t give a s–t that they’re getting married because I’m going to get engaged.'”
