Place Your Bets: How Many Characters In This 'Alien: Covenant' Photo Will Survive the…
Not everyone is going to survive Alien: Covenant. That’s not a spoiler, it’s a promise that’s made when a movie has Alien in the title. The real question is just how many will perish at the jaws and claws and acid-oozing wounds of a xenomorph.
The mortality rate in this franchise tends to be incredibly high, more often than not resulting in the horrific deaths of pretty much everyone – human and droid alike – that dares venture out into space. Usually a lucky few survive, and even then they’re pretty beat up. So we can’t help but look at this charming picture of the crew of the Covenant and think, “Awww, you are all going to die.” A grim thought, sure, but that’s what several decades of Alien movies has bred us to believe.
As a reminder, here’s the official synopsis for Alien: Covenant:
“The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.”
