Prince William Kate Middleton Comic Book “Fame: The Royals”

Wills & Kate: Now a comic book! Bluewater Productions — the company responsible for graphic novels about pop stars such as Justin Bieber, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga — is publishing an account of the romance and engagement of royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton in a new biographical comic book.

Fame: The Royals, a 32-page story in pictures, will retail for $7.99 when it goes on sale everywhere comics are sold this April, the company announced on Wednesday morning.

The comic is being illustrated and written by Pablo Martinena — who has lent his skills to other Bluewater works; Political Power: Bill Clinton and Fame: David Beckham among them. The Royals also takes a look at the planning for the “wedding of the century.” What shall Kate wear? Carriage or car? Fairy tale or modern? Where will they honeymoon?

“Here you have two people trapped in a fishbowl,” says Bluewater president Darren Davis. “As a non-royal how do you navigate in the sudden storm of fame? As someone used to the spotlight, how do you maintain a veil of privacy?”
