Release Date Shuffle: Find Out When You Can See 'Baywatch,' 'CHiPS,' '…

In the crazy business they call show, anything can happen and no plan is set in stone. Therefore, release dates may change on occasion, for whatever reason, and we just have to re-mark our calendars accordingly. Here are three such anticipated titles we’ll be adjusting our patience for:

CHiPS: March 24

Warner Bros. has shifted Dax Shepard’s movie version of the hit ’70s and ’80s motorcycle cop show to the spring, up from its previous date of August 11. Shepard wrote and directed the movie and co-stars as Jon Baker alongside Michael Pena’s take on Ponch.

Life: March 24

Sony also moved this sci-fi thriller to the same date as CHiPS, out of its previous Memorial Day weekend slot. Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson and Ryan Reynolds star in the movie about a space mission that discovers life on Mars. Check out its first trailer below.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword: May 12

Guy Ritchie’s gritty version of the Camelot legends used to also be set for March 24 but has now been pushed back a bit to the start of the summer movie season. Charlie Hunnam stars as the titular English monarch, joined by Astrid Berges-Frisbey as Guinevere, Djimon Hounsou as Sir Bedivere, Eric Bana as Arthur’s father, King Uther, and Jude Law as the villainout tyrant Vortigern. Everything, Everything: May 19

Another Warner Bros. change comes with this YA adaptation, previous marked for August 18. Now it’s got an early summer Mother’s Day weekend slot. Based on Nicola Yoon’s novel about a girl allergic to everything who falls in love with the boy next door, the drama stars Amandla Stenberg (Rue in The Hunger Games) and Nick Robinson (the older brother in Jurassic World).

Baywatch: May 26

Another comedic adaptation of a TV series, this one revisits the hit ’90s program that starred David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson. Now it’s Dwayne Johnson and Kelly Rohrbach in the same roles, joined by Alexandra Daddario and Zac Efron taking over the Nicole Eggert and David Charvet parts, respectively. Horrible Bosses helmer Seth Gordon is the director of the Sony release, which the studio moved back just seven days from Mother’s Day weekend to Memorial Day weekend. Check out two new teases of the movie, via Johnson and Efron, ahead of the trailer debut below.

Annabelle 2: August 11

Finally, one movie landed in the end of summer after leaving its original Mother’s Day weekend date of May 19. The sequel to the Conjuring spin-off about a possessed doll stars Anthony LaPaglia, Miranda Otto, The 5th Wave‘s Talitha Bateman and Stephanie Sigman of the Netflix series Narcos.
