Rod Stewart Talks Reunion With Daughter Sarah On “The Joy Behar Show”

Legendary rocker Rod Stewart will drop by HLN’s The Joy Behar Show tonight to talk about reuniting with the daughter he put up for adoption as a teenager in the 1960s.

Rod was only 17 when his girlfriend Susannah Boffey, an art student, gave birth to their daughter, Sarah Streeter. The high school sweethearts split a short time later. Boffey struggled to raise the baby on her own and eventually decided to put her up for adoption.

Now 46, Streeter was reunited with her rocker birth dad following the death of her adopted mom three years ago. Now the father of four — with a fifth child due with third wife Penny Lancaster later this year — Rod admits he is doing his best to become a father figure to his firstborn.

“I was absolutely stone broke, she was put for adoption, and only found out who her father was 15 years ago. She still had father and mother who looked after her and I didn’t want to get involved…since her mom and dad have died – obviously I’m the biological father – we’ve tried to come together and be close…” the 65-year-old “Maggie May” rocker explains.
