Even if you do not smoke a cigarette, but if you inhale from other people’s smoke, your lungs and heart are still damaged to an extent. Now, the new research has confirmed that your mental health may also be at risk due to second hand smoke.
According to the new studies, non-smokers who are exposed to lots of secondhand smoke were 50 percent more likely to have psychological distress as compared to those who never inhaled any second hand smoke.
Such people whose intake of secondhand smoke is regular, their chances of admitting in a psychiatric hospital in six years are three times higher than others.
