Is Sin City ready for Shania?
Shania Twain rode hits like “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and “You’re Still the One” to record-setting record sales over the past 15 years. Now the Billboard darling may be headed to party city in the desert for a permanent slot at Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas.
We hear the soft-spoken Come on Over singer is in the middle of negotiating a deal with Caesar’s to host her own permanent show at the casino’s Coliseum venue. The deal would solidify Shania’s place among the ranks Celine Dion, Cher, Toni “I’m Broke” Braxton, and Garth Brooks — all of whom have hosted stage shows along the Vegas strip.
In the meantime, Shania is hard at work on her first tell-all memoir. The Canadian is expected to spill the deets on her troubled childhood and the end of her lengthy marriage to producer Mutt Lange on the pages of the tome, due in 2011.
