Super Bowl Weekend got off to a brawling start for Wall Street 2′s Shia LaBeouf. The actor was handcuffed and briefly detained by cops following an alleged bar fight in Los Angeles on Friday night.
The alleged incident took place at Mad Bull’s Tavern in Sherman Oaks, where sources at the bar spill that the actor “got a little rowdy” which resulted in Shia being punched in the face, according to the site. Police arrived on the scene shortly after the ruckus and handcuffed everyone involved before eventually granting their release a short time later.
Unidentified sources, allegedly close to the former Even Stevens actor tell a different tale. They say the star, 24, simply defended himself after he was “jumped” on his way out of the bar. The Talking Heads at TMZ.com spoke with a tavern security guard, who also verified Shia’s version of the altercation.
