‘Supergirl’s’ Andrew Kreisberg: There’s more Jeremiah to come
We have several questions after Monday’s (Feb. 27) episode of “Supergirl,” but the main three are what the heck is that ship for, what does Jeremiah (Dean Cain) know about Mon-El (Chris Wood) that we don’t, and is it possible to die of Sanvers feels?
At least we’ve got answers for the first two.
The drama between Alex and her father is not done yet, showrunner Andrew Kreisberg says, and it will directly play into Lillian’s plans for that ship.

“[The ship is] a shimmy on Lillian’s desire to rid the Earth of aliens, and it’s an interesting debate in the next episode between Jeremiah and Alex (Chyler Leigh), if his plan is any more humane… Some of the talking points in the episode I think are reflective of the current debate in our world about dealing with immigrants — which we were very conscious of, and wanted to speak to that.”
It’s clear that Jeremiah isn’t working with Lillian out of loyalty, but rather out of necessity. Could he be reluctantly helping her rid Earth of aliens in the hopes of saving lives, instead of standing back and allowing genocide? It may not be a noble cause, but at least his intentions could be admirable.
Whatever his plan is, we’re dying to know how it will play into this secret Mon-El has been keeping since he arrived on Earth. We’ve known for a while that something’s hinky with Daxam’s sole survivor, and we’ve theorized about basically every angle. Is he the Prince of Daxam? A former slaver? A criminal on the run?
Thanks to Papa Danvers, we now know that whatever his secret is, it will most likely destroy his relationship with Kara (Melissa Benoist) — and subsequently everyone else in the DEO. Whatever it is, it’s going to be BAD.

Kreisberg wouldn’t elaborate on what exactly Mon-El could be hiding, but he did give us a timeline for when we’ll figure it out. “The Mon-El secret sort of comes to light in Episode 16, so you don’t have much further to go,” he says.
As far as where Alex stands now that her father has become the enemy, we can expect her to go a little crazy in the near future.
“My favorite scene all season long [is] where Alex interrogates a Cadmus guard,” Kreisberg teases. “Let’s just say we’ve had multiple rounds with Standards and Practices.”
“Oh yeah, ‘interrogates,’” Leigh jokes. “Yeah. There’s not much talking.”
Here’s hoping Maggie (Floriana Lima) can talk Alex down off this dark ledge she’ll no doubt be hovering on next week. If only all life’s problems could be solved by that super heartfelt hug Sanvers shared at the end of “Homecoming”…
“Supergirl” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
