Taylor Momsen should have plenty of time to brush up on her geography now that she’s no longer affiliated with the world-famous IMG Modeling Agency.
The scandal-ridden, angst-driven singer/actress, 17, has reportedly been dropped by the agency that has represented her for more than three years after her controversial behavior on and off stage became too much for IMG bosses to handle.
IMG has confirmed that they no longer represent Taylor, but would not expound on the Where, Whens, and Whys of the failed deal. We’re guessing the Gossip Girl baddie got the boot sometime before she flashed her boobs during a live performance in The Big Apple last October, but after Material Girl Madonna handpicked Momsen to serve as the spokesmodel for her Macy’s juniors clothing line.
Momsen’s panda-eyed, Courtney Love-meets-stripper crackhead image likely put the teen at odds with the fashion imprint.
She told MTV News earlier this year: “I think firing my stylist has allowed me to be more free. I was getting moulded into this thing that wasn’t who I am. I dress for myself, I do myself up kind of like a doll. I have a doll collection and I look at their outfits and kind of imitate them.”
Meanwhile, IMG is throwing its support behind its newest fresh-faced signee: clean-cut former child star Dakota Fanning.
